ILLUSTRATION
Is about Story telling
City of Tualatin Custom Bandana
This bandana was crafted for a hand out during the grand opening of the Tualatin River Greenway Trail. Artwork includes a map of where the trail is in relation to the city, and flora and fauna found along this interpretive geological walk through time.
Mountain Gazette
As Art Director for the Gazette Keith would have loved to hire more artists, but without a real budget and a quick turn around, he ended up created a large breath of realistic and interpretive art to support the variety of stories.
Climbing Magazine
For a few years Keith was consistently called upon to support the magazine with illustrations, feeding his own passions for the outdoors and climbing world. Everything from full page spreads to small inserts between text breaks or supporting Technical Tips with how too drawings.
Technical & How To
Sometimes, a drawing or painting can support a mood or vibe, but in other cases, it needs to be clean and mechanical.
Conceptualizing, Layout, & Storyboarding
Building an idea can be fun, especially if you like to collaborate. What should the scene look like? How should the brochure flow? What would it look like if it opened like this… Or which direction should we go with? Working ideas on paper is a great way to start.
Portrait Studies
A few quick studies, mixed media and oil on panel.
Personal & Sketch Book Meanderings
When not working on client pieces, Keith continues to play with oil paint, mixed media, or simply enjoys doodling in sketchbooks.
